Guided hike: La Calanque du Puit - Côte Bleue's hidden treasure

Discover a confidential trail full of charm between the sea and the garrigue! This hike, accessible to all, plunges you into the typical landscapes of Mediterranean Provence, on the fragrant heights of the Carry-le-Rouet garrigue.
Program:
- Immerse yourself in nature: walk through the scents of thyme, rosemary and Aleppo pine and learn to recognize the local flora.
- Viewpoints and photo breaks: several panoramic stops to immortalize the wild beauty of the Côte Bleue, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.
- Journey back in time: discover the history of the Côte Bleue railway line, a unique structure linking Marseille to Miramas along the sea, and learn about local traditions and anecdotes from the Provencal coast.
- Swimming in the Calanque du Puit: a hidden gem with turquoise waters, this is the perfect place for a relaxing break or a refreshing dip. Depending on the number of participants, masks and snorkels can be provided to explore the seabed.
- Return via the coastal path: walk along the seafront, passing through the Calanque des Eaux Salées, with its crystal-clear reflections, before making a detour to Cap Vierge, where a photo break is in order against one of the most beautiful views of the blue coast.
12:30 pm --> return to Le Rouet for a 2-hour lunch break. Enjoy a picnic by the sea, or sit back and savor the local specialties on one of the many terraces of local restaurants.
2nd stage -->
Guided paddle/kayak excursion: La grottes aux Hirondelles.

Let yourself be carried along by the waves on an excursion accessible to all, by paddle or kayak, to the heart of a coastline as rich as it is spectacular.
As we glide along, we discover a wild coastline where white cliffs plunge into a translucent sea. The itinerary takes us to discreet sea caves, real natural gems hidden in the rock, where the light plays with the turquoise reflections of the water. Regular breaks allow you to capture these magical moments.
Throughout the walk, we'll take time to evoke the Mediterranean:
- its fragile ecosystems, fauna and flora,
- how to protect it,
- and current ecological issues.
Your guide will also share historical and cultural anecdotes about the places you'll be visiting: ancient shipping lanes, local legends, small coves once used by fishermen or smugglers...
A contemplative, educational and exotic outing, where you'll encounter Mediterranean nature at its most beautiful.
Return around 5:30 pm --> End of day
Don't forget: swimsuit, sun cream, water, cap and appropriate footwear for the morning hike.
It will be possible to leave your belongings and spare parts in the room!
