As the gateway for visitors to Carry-le-Rouet and a showcase for the destination, the Tourist Office plays a key role in promoting and enhancing the area.
The port of Carry was already mentioned in Roman sea routes. It has a fine sandy beach and a casino, and has been a seaside resort for a long time. Its splendid villas are scattered around an inlet framed by slopes covered in pine trees. Fernandel has his house built there and entertained the people with memorable games of bowls on the village square.
