Guided Hike: La Calanque du Puit – Hidden Treasure of the Côte Bleue

Discover a private and charming trail between the sea and the scrubland! This hike, accessible to all, immerses you in the typical landscapes of Mediterranean Provence, on the fragrant heights of the Carry-le-Rouet scrubland.
On the program:
• Nature immersion: Walk through the scents of thyme, rosemary, and Aleppo pines while learning to recognize the local flora.
• Viewpoints and photo stops: Several panoramic stops will allow you to immortalize the wild beauty of the Côte Bleue, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.
• Journey through time: Discover the history of the Côte Bleue railway line, a unique structure that connects Marseille to Miramas along the sea, and hear stories of local traditions and anecdotes from the Provençal coastline.
• Swimming at Calanque du Puit: A hidden gem with turquoise waters, it's the perfect place for a relaxing break or a refreshing swim. Depending on the number of participants, masks and snorkels may be provided to explore the seabed. • Return via the coastal path: walk along the seafront, passing by the Calanque des Eaux Salées, with its crystalline reflections, before making a detour to Cap Vierge, where a photo break is a must in front of one of the most beautiful views of the Côte Bleue.
12:30 p.m. --> Return to Le Rouet for a 2-hour lunch break. Enjoy a picnic overlooking the sea or sit down on one of the many local restaurant terraces to savor the local specialties.
Stage 2 -->
Guided paddleboard/kayak excursion: The Swallow Caves.

Let yourself be carried by the waves on an excursion accessible to all, by paddleboard or kayak, in the heart of a coastline as rich as it is spectacular.
At a gentle pace, we discover a wild coastline where white cliffs plunge into a translucent sea. The route leads us to discreet sea caves, true natural gems hidden in the rock, where the light plays with the turquoise reflections of the water. Regular breaks will allow us to capture these magical moments.
Throughout the tour, we'll take the time to discuss the Mediterranean:
• its fragile ecosystems, its fauna, its flora,
• the actions taken to protect it,
• and current ecological issues.
Your guide will also share historical and cultural anecdotes about the places we pass through: ancient shipping routes, local legends, small coves once used by fishermen and smugglers, etc.
A contemplative, educational, and exotic outing, discovering Mediterranean nature at its most beautiful.
Return around 5:30 p.m. --> End of day
Bring with you: swimsuit, sunscreen, water, hat, and suitable footwear for the morning hike.
You can leave your belongings and changes of clothes in the storage room!
